Martin Machel

Martin Máčel is a psychology student, data analyst and a passionate scientist. He was part of the prestigious European project H-work, which investigates the effect of psychological interventions on mental health at work. He is currently involved in the SYRI project at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and together with Kristýna Cetkovská he is a member of an international team working with the Centre for Salutogenesis at the University of Zurich.

He is particularly interested in the psychology of health in the work environment and how individuals can increase their resilience to stress. His main aim is to increase the emphasis on prevention in mental health care.

At Nevyhasni he is in charge of projects for companies, especially mapping employee burnout.
