How to get started and not lose the zeal? That's what the experts will advise you at the September conference in Brno

Are you about to start a new job, starting a business or wishing you were a better team leader? Wondering how to maintain work-life balance with all the challenges of work and life? Come to Brno in September for a conference where you will learn everything.

Maybe you know it too - the uncertainty, the exhaustion, the doubt if it's worth it. Even such feelings are associated with professional life (not only) as a freelancer. Besides the joy of doing something you enjoy, something you wanted to do, there are flies in the form of poor energy management, inefficient processes, low self-esteem... existential crisis. I, too, sometimes find myself at a crossroads where I wonder what steps will help me improve my work and my overall setup, and in turn, fan that inner flame I need to keep a little more. In one such lost period, I got an invitation to New Beginnings Conferencewhich will take place 18-20 September in the hotel premises Cosmopolitan Bobs in Brno. I was intrigued by the programme and I thought it was worth going to the capital of Moravia to see it - and I hope that I will also have a chance to taste some of the great local gastronomy.

The event welcomes all employers, HR professionals, managers and employees, or aspiring and experienced businessmen and women. The organisers state that thanks to a comprehensive programme and inspiring people, you will get answers to the questions you are addressing in your business, whether you are at the very beginning or already working on your mindset as a more experienced entrepreneur. I'll be sure to share some of what I learned at the conference with you as well.

The author and main organizer of the conference is Maja Bourkova, which translates its nearly 30 years of experience in marketing and people management into consulting and mentoring activities. "In business and in life, we want to take inspiration from those who have succeeded and built something. Their stories show us the way out of situations that we don't know how to handle and that hinder our growth. The New Beginnings Conference wants to reach out to people from companies and entrepreneurs because we know they have something to share with each other. Entrepreneurs who plan to grow into a company in the future will gain valuable insights into getting started, and many managers stuck in a rut will in turn appreciate the practical finesse of entrepreneurs who know how to manage their time and energy well and know what it means to get their priorities right." says of the event.

The first day of the conference will focus on new beginnings in companies. The processes and emotions that accompany them. You will learn how to grasp these changes more flexibly and effectively. Individual speakers, such as Lucie Halušková, Pavel Haninec or Lenka Jánská, will advise you on how to lead a team, what to look out for when hiring new colleagues or how to set up relationships with clients.

Are you a freelancer or just about to start your own business? In that case, don't miss the second day, which will be dedicated to budding entrepreneurs. What shouldn't you forget when transitioning from employee to entrepreneur? How to do pricing or self-presentation? These questions will be answered by, among others Madla Čevelová a Petra Johansson

The final day of the conference will connect the worlds of business and entrepreneurs with an emphasis on health, body and mind care. You will try calming exercises. From Lucie Haberlová and Maya Bourke's You will learn how to delegate work and thus avoid exhaustion and burnout, and you will also have the space to realize whether you are neglecting exercise and ensuring a balanced and sufficient diet. And since we need to learn throughout our lives to keep ourselves on track and not miss the train, you Gabriela Šiller explain how to learn effectively at work.

The lectures and panel discussions will be followed by practical workshops and evening networking on Thursday 19 September. We hope to gain new enthusiasm and valuable contacts alongside knowledge and practical tips. More detailed information and the programme can be found at conference website. Who will I meet at the conference?
